Hi! My name is Addie and I’m a quiet, gentle, beautiful, middle aged female that is looking for her forever home. My human Daddy has cancer and I need to find a new home, and I am a bit scared of the thought. I have been with my Daddy since I’ve been 2 years old, and his daughter since I was a baby, so I only really know this home. I am very gentle but need time to warm to new people and new surroundings. I’ll probably hide for awhile, but will eventually warm up to you if you are willing to be patient. Please, please be patient!!!! I have a lot of love to give, just need to learn to trust my new human. Remember, it was only Daddy and me and Daddy lived a quiet life. I am fully housebroken and know my commands, and I’m definitely not pushy. I love to snuggle and I’m a great lap dog - and I’m not a crazy puppy anymore! But don’t get me wrong, I enjoy walking on my leash and running in the yard! I have energy and love to exercise! I don’t know why, but I suddenly did not get along with my fur sisters, but since no human was present to understand what caused the fight, I need to be an only pet. I get along with dogs at the dog park, or when humans are present, but I think I like being pampered and spoiled. Maybe once I’m confident with my new humans I can be introduced to new dogs, but please take it slowly as I need to know my human is safe and we are there for each other. I have been around my human grandkids, but again, I’m not a big fan of noise and commotion, so I think it’s best to not have children living in the home. I really am a great girl that has found herself in a rough situation. Do you want to be the star in my eyes and let me be your cuddle bug? I promise once I am relaxed and feeling safe again, I will give you all the love in the world and my boxer nub will convey my love back to you. Hi my name is Bailey. I am so glad you are checking me out. See I am a little scared and I didn't think anyone would be interested but it makes me feel better that you are at least looking. See I am scared of a few things, men, loud noises, thunder and like a lot of others, the dreaded vet. You know those darn doctors always have the needles and putting those mean thermometers in places they shouldn't. Yuck, that just makes me shake thinking about it. There is a few things that I can be brave about, I know my crate and I am good with it. And I know my commands too. But I do have a question for you, do you think you can help me be brave with the things that scare me? If you do, please hurry and let them know. Hey everyone check me out…my name is Kyber but you can call me Ki, I am new here with NJBR thanks to a nice lady that came to meet me at the shelter. She spent some time with me and before you knew it I was on the move and in a foster home. NO more shelter for me!!! So let me tell you something about me so you can see if you might be the right family for me. Well the first thing you need to know is they are calling me a special needs boxer; see I have seizures. The rescue started me on Phenobarbital this week and the vet is hoping that it will keep me from having any or very few seizures. I know that they are scary to watch and it is going to take a special person to help me through them but I know there is someone out there for me. My special needs do not define who I am because I am a very active guy. I enjoy going for walks or even a jog but mostly love playing chase me!! I am enjoying having a foster sister but she thinks I am crazy because I follow her everywhere…isn’t that what older sisters are for??? Well I have to go play but if you want to know more about me please reach out to my foster mom and she can fill you in…see ya soon! Sheeba has only been with us for one week but she has already adjusted so nicely to her foster home! She is dog-friendly and super sweet with the humans in the house. While her age says she's 'older', she sure doesn't act it! Sheeba is the first down the stairs to go for a walk...and boy, does she love walking! She still needs a little more practice not pulling, but is getting better every day. She LOVES to play ball, too! Oh, and when she is happy? She has boxer bounces!! (But she doesn't jump ON you!!) Sheeba has great hearing and notices all the new sounds in our neighborhood. Cool part? She doesn't bark at these random sounds. She does, however, let us know when there is someone in our driveway (which we think is nice of her to do!) Sheeba is a little hesitant when introduced to new people, but with reassurance, she warms up quickly. She has not been around little ones yet. While Sheeba prefers to be around people, she has been fine in the crate while we are at work. We have been so impressed with how nicely she has transitioned into our home and schedule. She's pretty easy going that way! Here's another Sheeba fact...her fur is as soft as hair (and she doesn't seem to shed!!) Also, she does not come up on the furniture, she likes her own dog bed. So far, she hasn't gotten into any mischief and has been a delightful girl. We looked up the definition of Sheeba and found it is a 'girls' name that means "PROMISE". Well, we can PROMISE you that Sheeba is a great girl! Sheeba is 9 Loves Dogs No Cats Kids 10+ If you are interested in Sheeba please contact Barbara at struckrussell@optonline.net

Hello thought I would fill you in on how I'm doing since I have been staying with my new foster family. My name is Princess......should I say more!!!! I love to have the place to myself and all attention on me. I am also called "a good girl" I guess it's because I am house trained, I can stay all on my own without being crated and guess what? I don't get into trouble. Don't get me wrong I am your typical boxer girl and a bit....curious...but I don't break things or chew on things either. Now for the things I continue to work on is my walking.....you see I love love to go out and get so excited when my foster parents get ready to take me out so I pull at first. I eventually settle down. I also jump on my family I get excited and want to greet you but with the "down" command I remember and get back on track. I have been thaught sit, down and go to bed commands .....sooooo like they say I am definitely "A GOOD GIRL". Please contact Cheryl our foster director at cmackey1970@gmail.com. Please consider opening your home to a senior

NJ Boxer Rescue would like to introduce Ma Puddin'! Pudding'?? yes, pudding'.. This beautiful silky soft and absolutely lovable Girl finds herself with us for no other reason than she simply needs her own space and people time. She came all the way with her sister from C.A with a family that went to a yard sale and refused to leave Pudding and her sibling to stay among the rest of the "stuff" with one look, the two girls found themselves a part of a very loving family that never even considered separating then or choosing one over another. Now, heres why she comes to us, Puddn is a lover of people and although is tolerable of some dogs, she has strong boundaries will let any pup know it. therefore it was an extremely difficult yet necessary decision in the best interest of all other dogs in the home as well as puddin' She is approximately 6 y/0 although you'd never know it by the looks of her, and she will be spayed and brought all up to date with all of her shots before moving to her forever home. She loves the beech, car rides, mid day naps, and has been nothing short of incredible with kiddos as small as they come. We are in urgent need of a foster for her so if you are interested please contact Susan at susanbellarosa@gmail.com. You must be approved before meeting her.

It's me, Bella, checking in to see who is thinking of adopting a wonderful senior. I'm still having a good time down the Jersey Shore, but I'm definitely up for a new adventure with a fabulous family. Here's what I've been up to: first, the Rescue has gotten me some excellent veterinary care. I've been spayed, had a big benign tumor removed, and now have some pearly white teeth. I've been going on some long walks and have lost nearly 15 pounds, which feels so much better on my joints. I've also been doing a lot of chilling out with my foster brother. I'm great company with lots of wiggles and kisses to share. It's probably best if I go to a home with a submissive male and won't be left alone for too long (prolonged separation stresses me out a bit), but make no mistake -- I'm worth it! I mean, look at me... I'm a gorgeous gal with youthful energy and a a whole lot of love to share. If interested in Bella please contact Tim at apbadboxers@gmail.com
