If you are interested about these boys contact Stacey at Boy oh.... TWO boys!! Yup, you read right. Hercules, affectionately AKA: Herky , Hercamilers among others ...is a beautiful older reverse brindle guy that's about as cool as they come. laid back, relaxed, & super smart. he and his brother from another mother (Rocky ) find themselves a little curious about the energy change in the air.. that's because they now have 2 pink little siblings that while aren't yet tall enough to walk around, definitely get a giggle from doggy kisses and playing bumpers in their own saucer things that cruise around and into the older furry gentlemen. Hercules is relaxed and confident yet he prefers to check those newbie’s out and be along his own way. He housebroken and 100% not going anyplace without his Brother from another mother... Rocky: also affectionately called Smocky, Smockules among others is a magnificent seasoned, fawn gentle giant with an angelic yet playful demeanor will lie down alongside of or on his brother Hercules, he is excited about meeting people and loves treats but is gentle in his approach, and happy to share his kissy face with you. Both boys are housebroken very good with people of all sizes, yet due to an old surgery to remove a lump he was born with, we prefer to consider older children that will understand every once in a while Mr. Hercules has a teensy bit of discomfort on his noggin * Important to note this in no way makes him dangerous or likely to lash out- We are more concerned for his old boo boo than how he will act if / when it does cause discomfort. There’s so much more to share of these lovely boys and not enough space. They MUST be placed together and NJBR will only consider already approved applicants to set a meeting with both boys. Hercules: 9 y/o Reverse Brindle Good with Kids 5 Good with Rocky can redirect on leash when approaching other dogs Cats unknown Rocky: 10 y/o Goods with kids 5 Good with dogs Cats unknown If you are interested about these boys contact Stacey at stombros@hotmail.com For information on adopting, or to fill out our adoption application please visit www.njboxerrescue.com

Meet Princess! This little lady is 9 years old and is currently at a local shelter after her family lost their home they surrendered her with the hope they would be able to get her back but sadly things didn't working out. We are going to pull her from the shelter but we need a foster home. We need to see how she is with other dogs, so for now we would like to move her to a home with no other pets. She has not been with children so for now we are saying 15+. Again this is until we get to know her. She is going to our vet office to get checked out and brought up to date on all shots. If you are interested in fostering or even adopting Princess please contact Cheryl our foster director at cmackey1970@gmail.com. Please consider opening your home to a senior

I'm Lily, and I have a story to tell you. I am looking for my forever home, and my foster family says that I am going to make a great family friend. I've been told that I am extremely smart. When I first arrived at my foster home, I didn't know much of anything and I was pretty crazy, which I hear is pretty common for a one year old boxer. After a week, I can sit and do down with both verbal and hand signals. I have been working on stay and I will do it, but it's a bit harder for me. You see, I really like to be right next to my humans at all times, so when they tell me to stay, I feel so far away from them. I have calmed down too and I don't even jump, but I do like to sit on everyone. My humans are so comfy! My favorite things to do are chew on my bone and play with my squeaky ball. The best game is when I'm on the couch with my ball, and I intentionally throw it on the floor and watch my humans retrieve it for me. I am completely house trained and I go in my crate when my humans go to work or school. I do need to learn some leash manners, but we are working on that too. Since I am so smart, I am sure I can master that soon. I must tell you that I need to be the only pet in the house and I would do best with older children. Well, it's time for me to go...I learned a new trick...push the ball under the couch and watch my humans lie on the floor to get it for me. Woof! Woof! **** Must be an only pet in the home and kids 15+ Contact Barbara at struckrussell@optonline.net

Darla is a year and half old beautiful girl with a tail! Darla's owners are away from home for such a long period of time each day which she is crated during that time. They realize that it is not fair to her so they reached out to us to find a family that can spend more time with her. Darla needs an active home that will give her lots of exercice because she needs to be able to burn off her energy. She does need to be in an only dog home. Darla loves to be loved and petted. If you would like to use both of your hands to give her rub downs, she would be in heaven. LOL She is wonderful with children and is gentle with little ones to make sure she does not knock them over. Maverick 2 1/2 yo male Kids: yes Dogs: yes Cats: unknown Maverick here to update on what's been going on in my world! Lots to share don't even know where to begin. I've now settled into my foster home and they learned a lot about me. I've been working with a NJBR vet who started me on Prozac for my anxiety. That's really starting to help me when my family leaves. I'm also really glad I got my foster brother too. I take my "happy" pill happily in the pill pocket. Yummy! I'm still working on learning to "go" outside. I have my good days and bad days. My obsession with water has slowed down a bit as I'm learning and getting used to not always needing water. I must tell you I get pretty excited when it snows...that's like an oversized water bowl at my disposal 24/7. I'm not sure my foster family loves it like I do if you get what I'm getting at 😉 lucky I'm cute they say! I'm happy in my foster home but I'd Really love to find my forever family! I hope you're it! Xoxo for now! Maverick is great with dogs and loves all kids too! If you are interested in Maverick please contact Megan at boxermommy07@gmail.com

Piper is one of the sweetest, most loving dogs. She is always looking for affection when she's not busy playing. She is working on manners, but still acts like a puppy. Piper is doing great with house training. She does have separation anxiety when left alone, even if for a few minutes. We found that putting her crate near a window helps as she can see outside. She also has a thunder shirt which will hopefully help. She is definitely a social, friendly animal who loves to be around people. She is great with kids and dogs too. She is an amazing dog with a huge amount of potential for a family who has the time and energy to invest in her. Piper would do best in a home where someone would be around a lot and able to give her all the attention and love she needs. Please contact Darlene at gracysmom@comcast.net

NJ Boxer Rescue would like to introduce Ma Puddin'! Pudding'?? yes, pudding'.. This beautiful silky soft and absolutely lovable Girl finds herself with us for no other reason than she simply needs her own space and people time. She came all the way with her sister from C.A with a family that went to a yard sale and refused to leave Pudding and her sibling to stay among the rest of the "stuff" with one look, the two girls found themselves a part of a very loving family that never even considered separating then or choosing one over another. Now, heres why she comes to us, Puddn is a lover of people and although is tolerable of some dogs, she has strong boundaries will let any pup know it. therefore it was an extremely difficult yet necessary decision in the best interest of all other dogs in the home as well as puddin' She is approximately 6 y/0 although you'd never know it by the looks of her, and she will be spayed and brought all up to date with all of her shots before moving to her forever home. She loves the beech, car rides, mid day naps, and has been nothing short of incredible with kiddos as small as they come. We are in urgent need of a foster for her so if you are interested please contact Susan at susanbellarosa@gmail.com. You must be approved before meeting her.

Hello! Jet here and I just got back from a walk through the town. I impressed my foster mum and dad as I’m soo good at walking without pulling on a lead and I gently greeted everyone who we met along the way. I was a bit bored when they sat down on a bench so I took the opportunity to have a quick nap and conserve energy for the walk back again!! So far today I met my neighbor’s dog, and we played nicely in their back yard. This was awesome as I love doggy friends and I can’t resist greeting other dogs when I’m on walks, although I keep my distance when I’m told to. I let the kids of the neighborhood stroke and pet me this morning, which felt really nice so I went back for more cuddles later. I’m proud to say I haven’t had a seizure for over a month and I take my medications without any fuss! I feel great and I look super handsome now I’ve lost a bit of weight, I’ve had lots of visitors since I arrived here and everyone loves me!! I’m not very vocal – I think I’ve only barked a couple of times since I got here, probably because things don’t really bother me that much and I love being in a friendly fun loving home! So I bet you're wondering why he has not found a forever home well it is because Jet is a special needs dog. See Jet has epilepsy and requires daily medication wish cost about $150 per month. In addition the medication makes him very thirsty, so he has to go out and number of times throughout the day. We are working on reducing his medication but we need to keep a good balance because on the medication his seizures have reduced to once a month and that is amazing for a dog with epilepsy. Please consider opening your heart and your home to a special-needs dog like Jet. If you are interested in adopting please contact Barbara at struckrussell@optonline.net

It's me, Bella, checking in to see who is thinking of adopting a wonderful senior. I'm still having a good time down the Jersey Shore, but I'm definitely up for a new adventure with a fabulous family. Here's what I've been up to: first, the Rescue has gotten me some excellent veterinary care. I've been spayed, had a big benign tumor removed, and now have some pearly white teeth. I've been going on some long walks and have lost nearly 15 pounds, which feels so much better on my joints. I've also been doing a lot of chilling out with my foster brother. I'm great company with lots of wiggles and kisses to share. It's probably best if I go to a home with a submissive male and won't be left alone for too long (prolonged separation stresses me out a bit), but make no mistake -- I'm worth it! I mean, look at me... I'm a gorgeous gal with youthful energy and a a whole lot of love to share. If interested in Bella please contact Tim at apbadboxers@gmail.com
