Meet sweet Nikki. Her life started off a little rocky in a puppy mill, but now that she is in rescue, she is an adorable, sweet, and very shy little mush. Although Nikki is not 100% potty trained, she is working really hard to turn that around. She has lived in a messy place, and had lots of puppies, but she is making great progress!! Nikki needs lots of gentle love, and although she is very shy at first, she warms up and then gives awesome kisses and wiggles! She is wonderful with children and plays with her boxer brother like they have known each other forever! She can, and seems enjoys being left in her crate. She will even stay in there when the door is open! She loves to lay right next to you and cuddle! With the right forever home, Nikki would make a be a great fit for a loving and patient home! Please look into letting this sweetheart into your life! Contact Barbara at struckrussell@optonline.net Name: Nikki Age: 5/6 Dogs: Yes Cats: Unknown Kids: 5+

Mandy is having her first night with NJBR at a foster home and we are very excited that she is part of NJBR. I will tell you that she is one happy girl!! She is active and can jump right into the car on her own and jump up to give you lots of kisses and hugs. I just spoke with her foster mom and she stated that Mandy follows her around and just wants to be petted and loved. We did learn that while at the vet on Friday that they were not able to spay her because she has some masses. This poor girl has a rectal mass, mass on her chest, they suspect a vaginal mass and because of her over breeding she has mammory masses too. Because of all these masses and her being between 10 and 11 they left it was best not to put her under. Due to her condition we just want to keep her happy and comfortable, so we are looking for a hospice home that would foster her or maybe even adopt her and show her love for whatever time she has. She has been through so much and she deserves to have lots of love and attention. If you are interested, please contact Barbara at struckrussell@optonline.net. Please consider opening your heart and home to Mandy, let's show her that people are good and that she is loved. We know that she lived with other dogs and have seem her with a little guy and cats. It would be great to find a home where someone was around and able to give her some love.

Hi! My name is Addie and I’m a quiet, gentle, beautiful, middle aged female that is looking for her forever home. My human Daddy has cancer and I need to find a new home, and I am a bit scared of the thought. I have been with my Daddy since I’ve been 2 years old, and his daughter since I was a baby, so I only really know this home. I am very gentle but need time to warm to new people and new surroundings. I’ll probably hide for awhile, but will eventually warm up to you if you are willing to be patient. Please, please be patient!!!! I have a lot of love to give, just need to learn to trust my new human. Remember, it was only Daddy and me and Daddy lived a quiet life. I am fully housebroken and know my commands, and I’m definitely not pushy. I love to snuggle and I’m a great lap dog - and I’m not a crazy puppy anymore! But don’t get me wrong, I enjoy walking on my leash and running in the yard! I have energy and love to exercise! I don’t know why, but I suddenly did not get along with my fur sisters, but since no human was present to understand what caused the fight, I need to be an only pet. I get along with dogs at the dog park, or when humans are present, but I think I like being pampered and spoiled. Maybe once I’m confident with my new humans I can be introduced to new dogs, but please take it slowly as I need to know my human is safe and we are there for each other. I have been around my human grandkids, but again, I’m not a big fan of noise and commotion, so I think it’s best to not have children living in the home. I really am a great girl that has found herself in a rough situation. Do you want to be the star in my eyes and let me be your cuddle bug? I promise once I am relaxed and feeling safe again, I will give you all the love in the world and my boxer nub will convey my love back to you. Sheeba, Princess of NJ, here, checking in! Have you seen how beautiful I am? My fur is sooooo silky soft, my wolf eyes, intense yet kind and my crooked smile?! What's not to love? Foster Mom calls me Princess because I am learning to like the "finer things" like being a good girl all day long in the house while she does this thing called "work". I know some good girl tricks called "come", "stay" and "sit". I am perfectly royal when riding in the car! Oh and my big adventure? This weekend they took me camping in the "Poodle Nose"...I think that's what it's called because I've never heard of the Poconos. Anyways...so many dogs and people and little ones there!! So exciting but being a princess, I was prim and proper and even enjoyed having some little ones pet my silky fur! I must have walked 10 miles over the long weekend and loved every minute of it! So hey, if you are looking for a Princess in your life, I could be your girl! Hello thought I would fill you in on how I'm doing since I have been staying with my new foster family. My name is Princess......should I say more!!!! I love to have the place to myself and all attention on me. I am also called "a good girl" I guess it's because I am house trained, I can stay all on my own without being crated and guess what? I don't get into trouble. Don't get me wrong I am your typical boxer girl and a bit....curious...but I don't break things or chew on things either. Now for the things I continue to work on is my walking.....you see I love love to go out and get so excited when my foster parents get ready to take me out so I pull at first. I eventually settle down. I also jump on my family I get excited and want to greet you but with the "down" command I remember and get back on track. I have been thaught sit, down and go to bed commands .....sooooo like they say I am definitely "A GOOD GIRL". Please contact Cheryl our foster director at cmackey1970@gmail.com. Please consider opening your home to a senior

Hey Puddin here just checking in...It has been awhile since you heard from me so I wanted to let you know I am doing well. My foster dad and I hang out together and go for nice walks. I am very happy that I have him to take care of me. He says I am a special girl. I just love being with people and truly enjoy their company. I have to tell you that I don't care for other animals to much because they could be getting the attention from you and I just feel I should be the only one in your heart. So if you have a big heart and are looking for someone to share your days and nights with please contact my secretary Susan at susanbellarosa@gmail.com and setup a meeting. She will make sure that you are a good home because she know how special I am. Name: Puddin Age: 6/7 Dogs/Cats: No Kids: 12+

It's me, Bella, checking in to see who is thinking of adopting a wonderful senior. I'm still having a good time down the Jersey Shore, but I'm definitely up for a new adventure with a fabulous family. Here's what I've been up to: first, the Rescue has gotten me some excellent veterinary care. I've been spayed, had a big benign tumor removed, and now have some pearly white teeth. I've been going on some long walks and have lost nearly 15 pounds, which feels so much better on my joints. I've also been doing a lot of chilling out with my foster brother. I'm great company with lots of wiggles and kisses to share. It's probably best if I go to a home with a submissive male and won't be left alone for too long (prolonged separation stresses me out a bit), but make no mistake -- I'm worth it! I mean, look at me... I'm a gorgeous gal with youthful energy and a a whole lot of love to share. If interested in Bella please contact Tim at apbadboxers@gmail.com
